Hi, Welcome to my website

I'm an artist, designer, photographer from San Diego, California, USA, who likes to do things that are a little bit photo, a little bit graphic, a little bit paint, and a little bit pop.

My process is mainly to shoot digital photography which I add style and color to in the computer, or sometimes paint by hand. Blending many different media is what makes me happiest.

My designs have become posters, postcards, banners, magazine covers, CD covers, calendars, paintings and protocol gifts.

The clients I've worked with have been in the fields of architecture, construction, city government, and music. I've also shot a few weddings and hockey games. And in my younger days, I freelanced as a photojournalist .

I work best when I'm inspired, so I tend to take on what I'm truly interested in.

My artistic spirit has been enhanced by a variety of different influences, including my old life as a City of San Diego Paramedic and also the time I spent working at San Diego Airport.

The best thing though, was the time I spent downtown living in my beloved Candy Factory in the warehouse district, before the Padres baseball team bulldozed most of the neighborhood. During that time, I spent alot of time at Fire Station 4 where some of the crews took a big interest in shaping my artistic views.

In 1998, the City of San Diego evicted me via eminent domain..... although there certainly was a silver lining to that story.

Since then, life has been good. Here are some of the highlights from recent years:

Posters for Donna Frye's 2006 City Council Race, Photography and posters for the Los Angeles Music Awards. A series of posters for Donna Frye's Mayoral Campaign , a website and medical graphics for sports psychiatrist, Dr. Michael Lardon, medical graphics for Dr. Ian Tofler, and a music poster for Michael Darby.

I spent 2006-2007 with the San Diego Fire Department photographing everything from structure fires to the fire academy which resulted in the book, "Firefighters Up Close & Personal: A Photo Essay. They gave me a really nice send off on the KUSI news on July 4th.

A project like that is a once in a lifetime opportunity... Many thanks to San Diego Fire-Rescue for such a great learning experience. If there is another public safety or government agency that would like to consider collaborating... I would certainly be interested.

Thank you for your visit... Your thoughts, questions or feedback are welcome. If you'd like to work with me, here is my wish list of projects and clients. Here are my services & rates, if you would like to collaborate.

SEPTEMBER 2007-- Moved to the studio of my dreams and taking on new clients. Life works out perfectly, if you let it. I am truly where I belong now and ready to do my best creative work ever.
