One of my favorite moments of the Summer's Hawaii trip was when Steve and his brother Mike, played the Sprung Monkey version of "He Aloha Mele"... the quintisential Hawaiian hula song. They had been playing the recorded version all week, while the Amber and the girls did the hula, but I wanted to hear it live. And they didn't disappoint.

I love the versatility of the Summers Brothers. They range from hardcore punk to sweet hula music. Not only are they talented, but they are a couple of great guys. And when I met their parents, Hal and Pat Summers, I could see why.

Spending a week in Hawaii with these wonderful people was truly a blessing.
